During that time I was also investing in and managing several commercial properties. My family has lived in the Ozarks for six generations. With 30+ years experience in real estate in residential, country homes, farms, ranches, recreational land and more. I love living in the Ozarks and have sold real estate in Missouri and California. I have a 145 acre farm where we raise beef cattle and I worked in a local livestock sale barn for several years. I have owned and ridden horses, both trail and show. These experiences add to my knowledge of the livestock industry and the value of the land to support it.
I like to cook and make jellies and pies out of wild produce like Elderberry, Paw Paw and Persimmon. Also enjoy riding down country roads to admire the wildlife, sites and smells. I have a good standing in the community as being trustworthy and hard working and currently serve as the Senator in the Silver Haired Legislature (east district), President of the Senior Center for Cabool, and past Texas County Board Member to the Southwest Missouri Office on Aging.

Steve and I have worked hard to be able to raise our children in the Ozarks! My days and nights are filled with homework and our kids' activities. I'm a “bleacher Mom” and I love to watch our kids in their chosen sports! I volunteer for several church and community roles, including my present office as President of the Cabool Area Chamber of Commerce! In my spare time, I love to plant flowers in my flower beds and I make the best cobblers in the county!
